Abstract
The present invention relates to an automatic power supply control apparatus for standby power shutoff for use with a computer, and pertains to providing a technology capable of even completely shutting off the standby power to the main body of a computer, while during normal operation providing easy power supply from an electric outlet to the main body of the computer through a simple operation. The apparatus of the present invention comprises: controlling means for maintaining a power supply to the internal circuits of the main body of a computer, regardless of whether the main body of the computer power switch is on or off, when a main power supply is spontaneously input to the main body of the computer when the main power is in an off state; a DC relay for connecting or shutting off a main power supply according to whether DC power output from the computer unit is supplied, when the main power supply is connected to the main body of the computer by the controlling means; a pushbutton switch for spontaneously connecting the main power supply to the main body of the computer; and an AC output unit for supplying the main power supply to the main body of the computer, a computer monitor, and other power consuming devices.
