Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Bestimmen einer Charakteristik für ein Druckregelventil einer Einspritzanlage, mit der Kraftstoff in einen Verbrennungsmotor eingespritzt wird, bei dem ein Strom des Kraftstoffs, der durch das Druckregelventil fließt, auf ein Minimum eingestellt und ein Steuerdruck (6) des Kraftstoffs so lange reduziert wird (14, 132, 134, 136, 138), bis das Druckregelventil geöffnet wird (12), und bei dem mindestens ein Wert für die Charakteristik aus einer Differenz eines Werts für den Steuerdruck (6), bei dem sich das Druckregelventil öffnet, und einem Referenzwert für den Steuerdruck (6) gebildet wird.
