Abstract
A portable flushable toilet unit is disclosed. The flushable unit is placed on top of a regular toilet bowl, wherein a pump handle is rotated around 180 degrees and locks via a spring loaded button that latches to handle. This creates enough leverage that anyone can operate the flushable portable commode and all the associated mechanisms.
Description
DESRIPTION OF AN IMPROVED FLUSHABLE PORTABLE COMMODE
in Fig. 1001 is a schematic of and improved flushable portable commode. The present invention relates to patent number 5,907,874 and provisional application 61/399,687 and 61/401,778.
After the flushable unit is placed on top of a regular toilet bowl, the said pump handle 2 is rotated around 180 degrees and locks via the spring loaded button 42 that latches to handle 4 . This creates enough leverage that anyone can operate the flushable portable commode and all the associate mechanism. Also, extending on the other side of the pivot point of handle 4 and as part of handle 2 is the part of handle 2 that pushes forward the hose drop sled and bowl handle pin catch with roller 8 onto the bowl handle pin 18 and the Latch 6. This stabilizes both the bowl handle pin 18 and the hose drop sled 8 so that the bowi see saw 10 will be still while the bowl see saw bungee 12 expand to create a bias that will dump the portable commode container (also called bowl).
With the hose drop sled and bowl handle pin catch with roller 8 being locked into position by the latch 6 stabilizing the bowl handle pin 18 (keeping the bowl up) and the hose drop sled and bowl handle catch with roller 8, the pump handles 2 and 4 now being connected are raised by the operator. As the handles are being raised the bowl see saw bungee 12 which is connected in the current instant to handle 4 and in turn biasing the bowl see saw 10. As the pump handles are continuously raised they also past latch 6 which has a by-pass (not shown) on the way up or on the intake stroke of the piston 38 and pump cylinder36.
Once the pump handles 2 and 4 are fully extended, the exhaust stroke or downward action of the pump handle begins. In the current embodiment, the pump handle 4 section catches the latch 6 on this downward stroke thus releasing the hose drop sled and bowl handle pin catch with roller 8. Once released, the intake hose and valve 14 comes out of the regular toilet bowl and the hose drop sled and bowl handle pin catch with roller 8 comes off of the bowl handle pin 18 allowing the bowl see saw bungee 12 to pull the bowl see saw 10 up. When the bowl see saw 10 goes up on the side the bungee is attached the opposite side of the bowl see saw 10 is force down thus causing the portable commode container to dump the contents into the regular toilet bowl while the continued downward stroke of the pump handles 2 and 4 flushes water out of the pump 36 through the exhaust hose and valve 16 and through the nozzle 30 as the bowl flushed clean into the fixed regular toilet bowl. As the pump handles continue in their downward stroke it connects and pushes the bowl see saw 10 elevating the bowl handle pin 18 and thus the portable commode bowl and nozzle to a rest position (see above noted ppa for already established connections).
Part list for fig. 1001
