Description

DESCRIPTION
SUPPORT SYSTEM THAT INCREASES STRENGTH IN PISTOL ACTION
The present invention relates to a "support system that increases strength in pistol action". This is a support system consisting of partial components manufactured of stronger materials in order to reduce effects such as breakage, crushing and wearing on pistol actions made of soft materials such as plastic, zamak and aluminium, which are easy to shape and suitable for mass production.
Today, zamak raw material of zinc alloy, which is commonly used for blank firing guns, have low breakage- and yield-strength as well as low melting temperature. Particularly the surface at the end of the pin against which the cartridge rests is affected from the high
temperature arising out due to backward pressure and blast caused by the cartridge during explosion, and incurs deformations such as crushing backwards. Upon explosion of the cartridge the action rapidly moves back and there is a surface at the end-point where the action hits. The action stops by hitting such surface. During such hitting it is very often to observe extension, breakage and flexure on the front part of the action due to the shock. The pistols in today's market crushes and wears in time the fastening part of the locking component action, which ensures the action to stand back at the end of the cartridge. Yet, the decocking piece placed between the trigger and the cock operates by rubbing on the action. As time passes by this friction surface too crushes and wears.
In the present invention, there is a component of hardened sheet steel, which is so placed that one arm thereof embraces the surface where pin end stands, and the other long arm embraces the lower surface of the action. In order to increase attachment of the sheet steel on the action and to spread the effects of the impact, this component has integrated arms. This cartridge surface support component is made of sheet steel. This support component is placed during manufacture in the moulding of internal piece and while zamak metal injection press is being carried out, this becomes integrated with the action internal piece. Sheet piece surface which forms the lower surface of the action internal piece meets the cartridges coming from the magazine. It avoids deformation arising out of friction of the cartridges. Particularly for the firearms which ejects bullet, at the point where barrel and action locks, it has been exclusively designed to avoid crushing and wearing of the action due to explosive pressure, and the sheet steel which supports this locking section has been improved. This piece is attached by single edge, namely, it has a U- structure of two arms. The one to be used for bullet ejector guns, however, additionally has a reverse U-shape part which bridges these two arms on the top. Upper surface of such bridging reverse U-shape ridge has also been hardened. Moreover, the end section fastening two arms has also been hardened.
Thanks to the pin surface sheet section employed in the present invention, deformation of the surface against which the cartridge rests is eliminated. The cartridges from the magazine are avoided to deform the lower surface of the action. By means of two-arm sheet piece inserted into the action, breakages that may occur during backwards movement of the action are prevented. Also avoided is the wearing and crushing of the locking surface of the action which ensured the action to stay locked at the back. Also eliminated is the wearing problem upon multiple shoots on the action operating surface of the decocking piece which operates between the trigger and the cock. Furthermore, for the real guns which eject bullet, thanks to the supportive sheet section placed in the barrel lock, it is possible to readily shape the action and to manufacture of inexpensive zamak material. It is important to enable rather cheaper and readily shapeable sheet steel and zamak composition to fulfil the duties performed by various hardly shapeable and costly actions.
In order to further describe the present invention, the following attached figures shall be utilized:

Support sheet (2) for the actions which eject bullet or support sheet (3) for the blank gun actions are inside the action main body (1) and integrated with the action main body (1) in an invisible manner from outside. Cartridge resting surface (5) of the cartridge resting support sheet (4) covers the front surface of the action internal piece (12) whereas cartridge support sheet lower surface (6) of the cartridge resting support sheet (4) covers the lower surface of the action internal piece (12) and support sheet side arms (8) are integrated with the action internal piece (12) of the cartridge resting support sheet (4) by the support of support sheet front arms (1 1) and support sheet back arm (7). Driving force of the cartridge resulting from the firing and explosion in the gun is met by the cartridge resting surface (5) of the cartridge resting support sheet (4) integrated with the action internal piece (12), thus, deformation of the action internal piece (12) is avoided. Yet, the action main body (1) and barrel locking section (13) of the support sheet (2) for actions which eject bullet absorbs the locking force arising out at the barrel locking section (10) upon explosion, thus, ensures spreading over all surfaces of the action main body (1 ). The force of impact to the action buffer during the final movement of the action main body (1) is spread over all surfaces of the action main body (1) by the action buffer impact surfaces (17) of support sheet for the actions which eject bullet. Support sheet (2) for the actions which eject bullet or action locking section (14) of the support sheet (3) for blank gun actions form the locking surface of the locking component which ensures action main body (1) stay at the back. Support sheet (2) for the actions which eject bullet or decocking section (15) of the support sheet (3) for blank gun actions form the surface on which the decocker operating between the trigger and the cock contacts. Support sheet (2) for the actions which eject bullet or the apertures (16) which ensure integration of support sheet (3) with action body for blank gun actions ensure integration with the support sheet (2) for actions which eject bullet or with action main body (1) of the support sheet (3) for blank gun actions. Support sheet back arm (7), support sheet side arms (8) and support sheet front arm (1 1) of the cartridge resting support sheet (4) ensure integration of cartridge resting support sheet (4) with the action internal piece (12) inside the action internal piece (12). Pin hole (9) and support sheet back arm (7) ensures cartridge resting support sheet (4) be on the same axis with action internal piece (12).
The present invention is used for the purpose of ensuring blank- and bullet-ejecting gun actions made of support system which increases strength in gun actions, of soft materials such as plastic, zamak and aluminium, to be supported by partial components made of strong materials and to make these have the same strength as steel actions.
