본 발명은 네트워크상에서의 콘텐츠 관리 방법, 및 이에 사용되는 웹서버에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 인쇄물에 출력된 코드를 독출하는 경우에 리더기에서 실행되는 콘텐츠를 다양한 콘텐츠로 변경하여 사용할 수 있도록 함과 동시에, 리더기를 통한 학습자의 학습 내용 등의 학습 정보 또는 제품 활용 정보를 제품 사용자 및 제품 판매자가 획득할 수 있도록 하는 네트워크상에서의 콘텐츠 관리 방법, 및 이에 사용되는 웹서버에 관한 것이다.
최근에 눈에 보이지 않는 코드가 인쇄된 교육용 책자 등의 인쇄물 상에서 코드가 인쇄된 부분을 펜 형태의 리더기를 통해 스캔하는 경우에 독출된 코드에 대응되는 콘텐츠로서, 리더기에 미리 저장되어 있는 음성 파일이 재생됨으로써, 교육적 효과를 제공하는 인쇄물 제품이 널리 활용되고 있다.

따라서, 본 발명의 목적은, 인쇄물에 출력된 코드를 독출하는 경우에 리더기에서 실행되는 콘텐츠를 다양한 콘텐츠로 변경하여 사용할 수 있도록 함과 동시에, 리더기를 통한 학습자의 학습 내용 등의 학습 정보 또는 제품 활용 정보를 제품 사용자 및 제품 판매자가 획득할 수 있도록 하는 네트워크상에서의 콘텐츠 관리 방법, 및 이에 사용되는 웹서버를 제공함에 있다.
상기 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명에 따른 네트워크상에서의 콘텐츠 관리 방법은, 웹서버가, 인쇄물에 출력된 코드와, 상기 코드를 독출한 리더기에 의해 실행되어야 하는 콘텐츠의 맵핑 정보가 저장된 저장부를 구비하는 단계; 상기 웹서버가, 상기 리더기로부터 상기 맵핑 정보의 송신요청을 수신하는 단계; 및 상기 웹서버가, 상기 리더기에 상기 맵핑 정보를 송신하는 단계를 포함한다.

도 1은 본 발명에 따른 네트워크상에서의 콘텐츠 관리 시스템의 구성도이다. 본 발명에서의 콘텐츠는 인쇄물(250)에 출력된 코드를 독출한 리더기(50)에 의해 실행되는 콘텐츠이며, 도 1을 참조하면, 본 발명에 따른 네트워크상에서의 콘텐츠 관리 시스템은 웹서버(100), 인쇄물 발행기(200), 코드 관리 서버(300), 판매자 서버(400)를 포함한다.

도 3은 본 발명에 따른 네트워크상에서의 콘텐츠 관리 시스템의 동작 원리를 설명하는 절차 흐름도이다. 도 1 내지 도 3을 참조하여, 본 발명에 따른 네트워크상에서의 콘텐츠 관리 시스템의 동작 원리를 설명하면, 먼저, 코드 관리 서버(300)는 외부의 관리자 단말기(미도시)로부터 인쇄물 제작 요청을 수신한다(S500).
코드 관리 서버(300)에는 이미 할당되어 인쇄물(250)에 출력된 코드 정보가 저장되어 있으며, 인쇄물 제작 요청을 수신한 코드 관리 서버(300)는 인쇄물(250)에 출력될 코드를 할당함에 있어서, 이미 사용된 코드와 중복되지 않도록 기 사용된 코드를 배제하여 코드를 할당하며, 중복 할당을 배제하여 할당된 코드는 코드 관리 서버(300)로부터 인쇄물 발행기(200)로 송신된다(S510).
발행해야 할 인쇄물(250)에 대해 할당된 코드를 코드 관리 서버(300)로부터 수신한 인쇄물 발행기(200)는 할당된 코드가 출력된 학습용 교재 등의 인쇄물(250)을 발행하며(S520), 발행된 인쇄물(250)은 유통과정을 거쳐 리더기(50)를 소지한 사용자에게 전달된다.
한편, 할당된 코드가 출력된 인쇄물(250)을 발행한 인쇄물 발행기(200)는 코드 관리 서버(300)에 인쇄물(250)에 출력된 코드, 인쇄물의 종류, 가격, 규격 등의 정보를 포함하는 인쇄물 발행정보를 코드 관리 서버(300)에 송신하며, 코드 관리 서버(300)는 수신한 인쇄물 발행정보에 기초하여, 이미 할당되어 인쇄물(250)에 출력된 코드 정보를 갱신하여 저장한다.
한편, 인쇄물 발행기(200)는 상술한 인쇄물 발행정보를 코드 관리 서버(300)에 송신할 뿐만 아니라, 웹서버(100)에도 송신하며(S530), 인쇄물 발행정보를 수신한 웹서버(100)는 해당 인쇄물(250)에 출력된 코드에 대응되는 콘텐츠의 정보를 맵핑한 맵핑 테이블을 하기의 표 1과 같은 형태로 저장부(130)에 저장한다(S540).

즉, 상기의 표 1은 리더기(50)가 독출한 코드의 정보가 '00'인 경우에는 파일명이 '새울음소리.mp3'인 콘텐츠가 리더기(50)를 통해 실행된다는 의미이며, 리더기(50)가 독출한 코드의 정보가 '01'인 경우에는 파일명이 '바다영상.avi'인 동영상 콘텐츠가 리더기(50)를 통해 실행된다는 의미이다.
한편, 리더기(50)를 판매자로부터 구매한 사용자는 리더기(50)를 통해 판매자 서버(400)에 접속하여 판매자 서버(400)에 업로드 되어 있는 콘텐츠인 '새울음소리.mp3', '바다영상.avi', '시냇물소리.mp3','에펠탑영상.avi' 등의 콘텐츠를 리더기(50)의 메모리에 다운로드 받는다.
이후 사용자는 리더기(50)를 통해 웹서버(100)에 접속하여 상기 표 1에 해당하는 맵핑 정보의 송신을 요청하고, 이에 웹서버(100)의 수신부(110)는 맵핑 정보의 송신요청을 수신하며(S550), 웹서버(100)는 송신부(150)를 통해 저장부(130)에 저장되어 있는 맵핑 정보를 리더기(50)에 송신한다(S560).
리더기(50)는 웹서버(100)로부터 다운로드받은 맵핑 정보를 메모리에 저장하게 되며, 이후 리더기(50)의 사용자는 '00', '01', '10', '11' 등의 코드 정보를 의미하는 각각의 코드들이 인쇄되어 있는 인쇄물(250) 상에서 리더기(50)를 통해 각각의 코드를 독출하게 된다. 한편, 본 발명을 실시함에 있어서, 코드는 바 코드, 도트 코드, 선분 코드 등의 다양한 형태의 코드가 사용될 수 있을 것이다.
리더기(50)에 의해 독출된 코드가 '00'의 코드 정보를 갖는 코드인 경우에, 리더기(50)는 메모리에 저장된 맵핑 정보에 기초하여 이에 대응되는 콘텐츠로서, 판매자 서버(400)로부터 다운로드 받아 저장하고 있는 콘텐츠인 파일명이 '새울음소리.mp3'인 콘텐츠를 실행하게 된다.
한편, 본 발명을 실시함에 있어서, 인쇄물(250) 상에서 '00'의 코드 정보를 갖는 코드가 인쇄되어 있는 부분에는 '새그림'이 함께 그려져 있도록 하는 것이 바람직할 것이다.
이에 의하면, 리더기(50)를 통해 사용자가 '새그림'을 스캔하는 경우에 리더기(50)를 통해 파일명이 '새울음소리.mp3'인 콘텐츠가 실행됨으로써 사용자는 새울음소리를 들을 수 있게 된다(S570).
즉, 이와 같이 웹서버(100)에 저장된 맵핑 테이블에 기초하여 리더기(50)에서 실행되는 콘텐츠가 결정되므로, 웹서버(100)의 맵핑 테이블만을 바꾸어줌으로써, 동일한 인쇄물(250)을 통해 실행되는 콘텐츠는 다양하게 변형가능하게 된다.
이와 같이 리더기(50)를 통해 맵핑 정보에 따른 콘텐츠를 실행하게 되면 리더기(50)는 실행된 콘텐츠 정보, 해당 콘텐츠의 실행 시각, 리더기(50)의 제품 일련번호 등을 포함하는 콘텐츠 실행 정보를 웹서버(100)에 송신하며, 이에 웹서버(100)의 수신부(110)는 리더기(50)로부터 콘텐츠 실행 정보를 수신고, 이를 웹서버(100)의 저장부(130)에 저장하게 된다(S580).
이후 웹서버(100)는 일정 주기별로 콘텐츠 실행 정보를 판매자 서버(400)에 전송한다(S590).
이에 따라, 판매자 서버(400)의 관리자는 판매된 각각의 리더기(50)에서 실행된 콘텐츠의 정보, 및 콘텐츠의 실행 시각 및 빈도에 대한 정보를 확보할 수 있게 되며, 이를 통해 리더기(50) 및 각종 콘텐츠의 활용 상태에 대한 정보를 분석함으로써, 향후 리더기(50) 개발 및 콘텐츠 개발에 있어서의 기초 정보로 활용할 수 있게 된다.
아울러, 각 리더기(50)별 실행된 콘텐츠의 정보 및 콘텐츠의 실행 시각 및 빈도에 대한 정보를 판매자 서버(400)에서 제공하는 웹 사이트 등에 게시함으로써, 리더기(50)의 구매자들이 자신이 구매한 리더기(50)의 활용 상태를 확인할 수 있게 된다.
즉, 리더기(50)를 구매하여 자녀에게 학습 도구로 제공한 부모는 판매자 서버(400)에서 제공하는 웹 사이트에 접속함으로써, 자신의 자녀가 언제, 어떤 콘텐츠를 어느 정도의 빈도로 사용했는지에 대한 정보를 얻을 수 있으며, 이를 통해 자녀의 학습 상태를 점검하고 이후의 교육계획을 효과적으로 세울 수 있게 된다.
이상에서는 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예 및 응용예에 대하여 도시하고 설명하였지만, 본 발명은 상술한 특정의 실시예 및 응용예에 한정되지 아니하며, 청구범위에서 청구하는 본 발명의 요지를 벗어남이 없이 당해 발명이 속하는 기술분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진자에 의해 다양한 변형실시가 가능한 것은 물론이고, 이러한 변형실시들은 본 발명의 기술적 사상이나 전망으로부터 개별적으로 이해되어져서는 안될 것이다.
본 발명은 온라인 콘텐츠 산업 분야에서의 산업상 이용가능성이 인정된다.

Claims (8)

  1. 웹서버가, 인쇄물에 출력된 코드와, 상기 코드를 독출한 리더기에 의해 실행되어야 하는 콘텐츠의 맵핑 정보가 저장된 저장부를 구비하는 단계;
    상기 웹서버가, 상기 리더기로부터 상기 맵핑 정보의 송신요청을 수신하는 단계; 및
    상기 웹서버가, 상기 리더기에 상기 맵핑 정보를 송신하는 단계
    를 포함하는 네트워크상에서의 콘텐츠 관리 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 리더기가 상기 인쇄물에 출력된 코드를 독출하고, 상기 맵핑 정보에 따른 상기 코드에 대응되는 콘텐츠를 실행한 경우에, 상기 웹서버가, 상기 리더기로부터 실행된 콘텐츠의 정보를 포함하는 콘텐츠 실행 정보를 수신하는 단계;를 더 포함하는 네트워크상에서의 콘텐츠 관리 방법.
  3. 제2항에 있어서,
    상기 웹서버가, 상기 리더기의 판매자의 서버로 상기 콘텐츠 실행 정보를 송신하는 단계를 더 포함하는 네트워크상에서의 콘텐츠 관리 방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 인쇄물에 출력된 코드는, 다른 인쇄물에 중복하여 출력되지 않도록 코드 관리 서버로부터 할당된 코드인 것인 네트워크상에서의 콘텐츠 관리 방법.
  5. 인쇄물에 출력된 코드와, 상기 코드를 독출한 리더기에 의해 실행되어야 하는 콘텐츠의 맵핑 정보가 저장된 저장부;
    상기 리더기로부터 상기 맵핑 정보의 송신요청을 수신하는 수신부; 및
    상기 리더기에 상기 맵핑 정보를 송신하는 송신부
    를 포함하는 웹서버.
  6. 제5항에 있어서,
    상기 리더기가 상기 인쇄물에 출력된 코드를 독출하고, 상기 맵핑 정보에 따른 상기 코드에 대응되는 콘텐츠를 실행한 경우에, 상기 수신부는, 상기 리더기로부터 실행된 콘텐츠의 정보를 포함하는 콘텐츠 실행 정보를 수신하는 것인 웹서버.
  7. 제6항에 있어서,
    상기 송신부는, 상기 리더기의 판매자의 서버로 상기 콘텐츠 실행 정보를 송신하는 것인 웹서버.
  8. 제5항에 있어서,
    상기 인쇄물에 출력된 코드는, 다른 인쇄물에 중복하여 출력되지 않도록 코드 관리 서버로부터 할당된 코드인 것인 웹서버.
