Abstract

La présente invention concerne des verres polariseurs, et plus spécifiquement des verres polariseur comprenant : une couche de différence de phase λ/4 servant à transformer une lumière polarisée circulairement en lumière polarisée linéairement ; une couche de différence de phase auxiliaire ayant des caractéristiques optiques spécifiques servant à transformer la lumière qui n'est pas polarisée linéairement par la couche de différence de phase λ/4 en lumière polarisée linéairement ; et un polariseur servant à faire passer la lumière émise depuis la couche de différence de phase auxiliaire. Les verres polariseurs transforment la lumière polarisée circulairement reçue à travers un plan incliné en lumière polarisée linéairement dans des verres polariseurs connus, ce qui améliore le couple croisé causé par les fuites de lumière (incidence simultanée des lumières gauche et droite dans un côté).
