Abstract

The invention relates to a mobile device for splitting a log, comprising at least one guide element for guiding the log, at least one conveying apparatus for advancing the log along the guide element, at least two rollers of the conveying apparatus, at least one drive apparatus for driving at least one roller of the conveying apparatus, at least one splitting apparatus, cutting edges of the splitting apparatus directed opposite the advancing direction of the conveying apparatus in order to longitudinally split the log, and at least one coupling apparatus for directly or indirectly coupling the device to a base machine.
