Abstract

One embodiment of the present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for predicting a color space and to a method and an apparatus for encoding/decoding an image using same. According to one embodiment of the present invention, provided are an apparatus and a method for predicting a color space, comprising: a predictive weighted value calculation unit which determines a weighted block from an encoded peripheral block of the current block, and calculates a predictive weighted value for each frequency domain from the weighted block; a predictive frequency selection unit which calculates predictive gains for each frequency domain from the predictive weighted value for each frequency domain, and selects a frequency domain to be used in predicting a color space, using the predictive gains for each frequency domain; and a frequency domain prediction unit which receives a converted residual block, and predicts a color space for the converted residual block from the predictive weighted value of the selected frequency domain. According to one embodiment of the present invention, provided are an apparatus and a method for predicting a color space, and a method and an apparatus for encoding/decoding an image using same, comprising: a predictive weighted value calculation unit which determines a weighted block from a decoded peripheral block of the current block, and calculates a predictive weighted value for each frequency domain from the weighted block; a predictive frequency selection unit which calculates predictive gains for each frequency domain from the predictive weighted value for each frequency domain, and selects a frequency domain to be used in predicting a color space, using the predictive gains for each frequency domain; and a frequency domain restoring unit which restores a converted residual block from a color space prediction block.
