Abstract

The invention relates to a method for charging a power supply battery (10) of a motor vehicle using a charging system comprising an emitter (12) and a receiver (2) disposed inside the vehicle. The invention includes a step in which the emitter (12) detects the power absorbed by the receiver (2), and, below a pre-defined threshold, the battery (10) is considered to be fully charged, which triggers a final step (E40) comprising the detection of the end of battery charging and the deactivation of the receiver (2) at the end of the charging operation.
