Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système et un procédé pour le chargement, le transport et le déchargement de matériaux en vrac. Plus particulièrement, mais non exclusivement, l'invention concerne un système et un procédé pour le chargement, le transport et le déchargement de matériaux en vrac dans un environnement de transport ferroviaire. Le système comprend une longueur de voie ferrée permettant de recevoir le wagon de transport ferroviaire; au moins une plateforme adjacente et sensiblement parallèle à la longueur de voie ferrée, la plateforme étant conçue de manière à ce qu'une surface supérieure de celle-ci soit sensiblement co-planaire avec celle d'un wagon de transport ferroviaire situé sur la voie ferrée; et un agencement de déplacement adapté à permettre le déplacement latéral d'un conteneur par rapport à la plateforme en direction de la voie ferrée ou dans la direction s'éloignant de celle-ci.
