Abstract

The invention relates to a hydraulic clutch or brake actuating system having a master cylinder, a slave cylinder and a pressure line which connects them, wherein the master cylinder has a housing, having a master piston which is arranged in an axially movable manner in the interior of the housing, and having a piston rod which has a piston rod connection piece which is connected to one end of the master piston, which end is formed as a master piston matching piece, wherein, furthermore, a seal is included which bears against an inner wall of the housing in such a way that the interior of the housing is sealed to the outside on the side of the piston rod, wherein the piston rod is provided with a seal which acts as an end-side bearing of the master piston.
