Abstract

The invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions of metformin or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. In particular, the invention relates to stable pharmaceutical compositions of metformin, which can be reconstituted in water prior to administration; process of manufacturing such compositions and their use in treating hyperglycemia and/or diabetes.
