Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé et à un système permettant de distinguer qu'une image correspond à un courriel indésirable. Le procédé selon l'invention consiste : à extraire des caractéristiques d'image en fonction de la distribution d'un taux de compression de l'image dans le courriel; à calculer, au moyen d'une formule de calcul de probabilités et de statistiques, et sur la base de la probabilité que chaque caractéristique apparaisse dans une image de courriel indésirable, une probabilité que le courriel soit un courriel indésirable; à rechercher, dans la table de pondération prédéfinie, et sur la base de la probabilité que l'image soit un courriel indésirable, des temps de retransmission ainsi que la réputation de l'adresse IP de l'expéditeur, et à calculer la somme pondérée de ladite image; et à déterminer si l'image est un courriel indésirable, ou non, sur la base de ladite somme pondérée. La solution technique de la présente invention permet de distinguer de manière efficace qu'une image correspond à un courriel indésirable. Elle permet également de distinguer les images présentant une déformation ou un bruit de fond
