Abstract

L'invention porte sur un système, sur un procédé et sur un support de stockage lisible par ordinateur qui sont configurés pour faciliter des transactions de cargaisons. Le système comprend un portail, tel qu'un portail Internet ou une application Internet, auquel peuvent accéder des expéditeurs, des camionneurs et/ou des acheteurs pour entrer et revoir des informations concernant des expéditions de cargaisons, pour autoriser des paiements et pour transmettre d'autres communications et données. Lors de l'embauche d'un camionneur pour livrer une cargaison à un acheteur, un expéditeur peut accéder au portail, pour entrer, entre autres choses, des informations concernant l'expédition et les conditions de paiement. Les informations concernant l'expédition peuvent comprendre des instructions de preuves de livraison et les conditions de paiement peuvent spécifier le moment et le montant à payer au camionneur. Après l'enlèvement et la livraison de la cargaison, l'expéditeur, l'acheteur et/ou un individu autorisé peuvent accéder au portail pour confirmer l'enlèvement, la livraison et pour autoriser des paiements.
