Abstract

디지털 방송 송신기의 스트림 처리 방법이 개시된다. 본 방법은, 기존 모바일 데이터를 위해 할당된 제1 영역 및 노멀 데이터를 위해 할당된 제2 영역을 포함하는 스트림 내에서, 정해진 모드에 따라 신규 모바일 데이터를 배치하는 배치 단계, 기지 데이터 및 상기 신규 모바일 데이터가 배치된 스트림을 구성하는 스트림 구성 단계 및 스트림을 인코딩 및 인터리빙하여 전송 스트림으로 출력하는 전송 단계를 포함한다. 여기서, 모드는, 호환성 모드 및 비호환성 모드 중 하나가 될 수 있다. 이에 따라, 스트림을 다양한 방식으로 효율적으로 사용할 수 있다.
