Abstract
The present invention relates to a compressor for a heat pump, and to a heat pump system using same, wherein the compressor comprises: a sealed vessel partitioned by a diaphragm member into an upper chamber and a lower chamber; a motor disposed in the upper chamber, a rotating shaft of which passes through a shaft support of the diaphragm member so as to project into the lower chamber; an impeller installed on the bottom of the rotating shaft; and a nozzle disposed in the lower chamber, for spraying high pressure coolant so as to rotate the impeller as well as the rotating shaft of the motor, to thereby reduce energy consumption by lightening the load on the motor. The compressor for a heat pump according to the present invention comprises: said sealed vessel (20) partitioned by the diaphragm member (21) into the upper chamber (22) and the lower chamber (23); a pump (32) and said motor (34) built into the sealed vessel (20), wherein the pump (32) and the motor (34) are installed in the upper chamber (22), the pump (32) is driven by the motor (34), coolant that is taken in through an inlet (25) is compressed by the pump (32) and discharged through a discharge hole (26), and the bottom end of the rotating shaft (35) of the motor (34) passes through the shaft support (24) of the diaphragm member (21) so as to project into the lower chamber (23); said impeller (40) installed on the bottom of the rotating shaft (35); and said nozzle (50) disposed in the lower chamber (23), for spraying high pressure coolant so as to rotate the impeller (40) as well as the rotating shaft (35) of the motor (34) by means of the rotation of the impeller (40).
