Abstract
The invention describes an apparatus for converting energy from an oscillating movement into electrical energy, in particular from an oscillating movement which is caused by waves of water, having a base body (1) which is designed to execute an oscillating movement as a result of an external oscillating force which acts on the base body (1), a conversion mechanism which is designed to convert the oscillating movement of the base body (1) into a rotary movement of a conversion element about a rotation axis, wherein a main axis of the conversion mechanism is formed to be substantially upright irrespective of the state of inclination of the base body (1) during the oscillating movement, and a generator unit which is designed to convert energy from the rotary movement of the conversion element about the rotation axis into electrical energy. The invention also describes an arrangement having a plurality of apparatuses for converting energy from an oscillating movement into electrical energy.
