Abstract

A rape victim protector and rapist identifier 10 comprises a flexible sheath 12 of liquid impermeable condom type material extending between a closed off inner end 14 and a mouth presenting end 16 and attachment means fitted along the inner wall of the sheath 12 as provided by a plurality of circumferentially arranged prong like formations 18 each displaying a hook shaped end 20. The inner end 14 of the sheath 12 is dome shaped at least once the protector cum identifier 10 is in its fully extended condition although at least substantially retaining this characteristic when the sheath is in its folded over condition. The dome shaped inner end 22 is resilient by this part of the sheath 12 being of adequate thickness to impart it with the desired characteristic. The sheath 12 is formed with an intermediate expansion step 24.
