Abstract

L'invention concerne une turbine hydraulique basse pression à axe horizontal pourvue d'un arbre central horizontal. Cette turbine se caractérise en particulier en ce que les pales présentent une partie inférieure et une pointe effilées, une partie centrale élargie et une partie arrière également effilée. Chaque jeu de pales comprend de deux à 40 pales alignées sur un plan circulaire avec un espace égal autour d'un axe, leur partie avant étant tournée dans le même sens. Par exemple, si un jeu comprend deux pales, elles doivent être espacées de 180° (360°/2) ou, si un jeu comprend quatre pales, elles doivent être espacées de 90° (360°/4). Des jeux multiples, de un à 40 jeux, sont alignés sur l'axe horizontal et fixés au même arbre central. Lorsque des jeux de pales sont superposés, le deuxième jeu doit être disposé de sorte que ses pales divisent également les angles entre les pales du premier jeu, et le troisième jeu doit ensuite être disposé de sorte que ses pales divisent également les angles entre les pales du deuxième jeu, et ainsi de suite.
