Description
ENTERTAINING SCIENTIFIC-EDUCATIONAL COMPLEX
Field of the Invention
The invention relates to the organization of entertainments, namely, to the organization of entertainments, combined with academic and cognitive goals.
Background
The entertaining complexes which include oceanariums, arboreta and other objects, simulating the natural environment in its various manifestations have been described
[Osnovin E. V., patent RU 2279301]. The entertaining complexes, mounted on the movable platforms, capable to simulate movement of various vehicles with simultaneous
demonstration on survey screens of corresponding previously recorded images of
environment have been also described [Ellsworth Th. N., patent US 5,316,480].
The closest analogue, taken as a prototype, is a device that includes a mobile module and the module - simulator of the vehicles movement [Inui Y., Kawashima T., Fujihata M., JP 2003-241642]. In this device, which includes the mobile module and simulating module, the simulating module is driven according to position information obtained by mobile module provided with a position information obtaining means mounted on a moving module, and a picture/sound reproducing section reproduces the picture/sound information obtained by the position environment information obtaining means, thus enabling different simulated experience of the movements of the moving module in real time.
However, none of the known entertainment complexes does not provide the visitors opportunity to gain experience and information, similar to those obtained when moving along the surface of the Moon and to drive a mobile module, which is moving on the lunar surface, to survey with its help of new, including previously unknown natural objects on the Moon.
Disclosure of Invention
Technical result of the invention is the provision for visitors of an entertainment complex an opportunity to survey lunar natural objects and achievement of greatest effect of presence on lunar surface.
This result is achieved by that the entertaining scientific-educational complex, which includes a mobile module, equipped with TV-cameras to survey the surrounding terrain and
l
sensors of accelerations, turns, pitches and tilts, communication system of mobile module with the ground control module, the ground control module, adapted to accommodate one or more than one visitor, equipped with monitors for display images from TV-cameras of mobile module and apparatus with the ability to control a mobile module through the
commumcation system, this ground control module is mounted on a movable platform, able to reproduce the accelerations, turns, pitches and tilts, transmitted through the communication system from appropriate sensors of mobile module, characterized in that the mobile module is made with possibility to operate in space conditions on the lunar surface, previously delivered to the lunar surface by space delivery vehicles and a movable platform reproduces the accelerations, turns, pitches and tilts of mobile module, which moves on the lunar surface.
Brief Description of the Drawing
On Fig.l is presented the arrangement of the entertaining scientific-educational complex. Entertaining scientific-educational complex includes a mobile module 1 with a set of TV- cameras 2, previously delivered to the lunar surface by space delivery systems,
communications system 3 of mobile module with ground control module, a ground control module 4, mounted on a movable platform 5.
Detailed Description
The mobile module 1, located on the lunar surface, is equipped with sensors of
accelerations, turns, pitches and tilts relative to the local vertical. It has set of television cameras 2 for three-dimensional survey of the surrounding terrain.
It is also provided with communication equipment 3 for communication with ground control module 4.
Power supplies of the equipment of the mobile module are carried out from the
accumulators, charged from solar panels, located on the surfaces of the mobile module 1.
Ground control module 4 has seats to accommodate its visitors, and is equipped with monitors to display real-time three-dimensional images transmitted from cameras 2 of mobile module 1.
Front view monitors are connected to forward course TV-cameras of the mobile module, lateral right and left monitors are connected to corresponding lateral TV-cameras, and rear view monitors are connected to rear view TV-cameras of the mobile module.
The ground control module 4 also has an apparatus for control of mobile module 1, control and information signals are transmitted through the communication system 3.
The ground control module 4 is installed on a movable platform 5, which can reproduce the accelerations, turns, pitches and tilts, arising with the motion of the mobile module 1 on the lunar surface and transmitted from its respective sensors through a communication system 3. Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
The mobile module 1 is delivered to the Moon surface by the known way, for example, with the help of rockets and the landing stages which were used for delivery to a lunar surface vehicles "Lunokhod- 1 " and "Lunokhod-2".
After charging the accumulators from solar panels the connection between the mobile module 1 and the ground control module 4 is established and functioning of the equipment onboard the mobile module is checked.
Visitors of a complex take places in a ground control module 4. The mobile module 1 under control from the ground control module 4 through the communications system 3 starts to move on the lunar surface. From course and lateral three-dimensional television systems 2 images are transferred to the corresponding three-dimensional course and side-view displays, which is installed in the control module 4. Signals from sensors of accelerations, turns, pitches and tilts of the mobile module are transferred in real time for corresponding drives of the mobile platform 5 which having, at least, four spatial degrees of freedom, for creation of identical accelerations, turns, pitches and tilts of the control module 4.
Signal delay in the communication line, accounting for about three seconds, at low speed of the mobile module has no appreciable effect on the perception of the environment.
The visitors of a complex, who are in the control module 4, receive the information from their organs of vision and a vestibular apparatus similar to that information, which they would receive, being in the mobile module 1, moving on a lunar surface. Since people get nearly all information about the movement and spatial position from the organs of vision and a vestibular apparatus, visitors of the complex who are in the control module 4, gain the maximum effect of presence on a lunar surface. Driving mobile module on the lunar surface, visitors can examine various natural objects, craters, mountains, other lunar landscapes. Industrial Applicability
As a result of invention, visitors of an entertainment complex get an opportunity to survey lunar natural objects and to achieve the greatest effect of presence on the lunar surface. Thus the entertaining, scientific and educational properties of the entertainment complex are significantly enhanced.
