Cet agencement permet de stocker de l'énergie par élongation élastique de la seconde région lors d'un premier mouvement dans une première direction, laquelle énergie est libérée lors d'un second mouvement, dans une direction opposée à la première direction, de la partie du corps recouverte par l'élément élastique, lequel est disposé à l'opposé de la seconde région.
