Description

Mikrobiologisch stabile anwendungsfreundliche Zubereitung mit Verdickern  Microbiologically stable application-friendly preparation with thickeners
Die Erfindung umfasst kosmetische oder dermatologische Zubereitungen mit The invention includes cosmetic or dermatological preparations with
Benzethonium chloride, methylisothiazolinone, Piroctone olamine and / or lauroylethylarginate and one or more thickening substances.
Durch Multi-component systems such as solutions, emulsions or suspensions are frequently adjusted or thickened to higher viscosities for reasons of economy or performance or for reasons of stability. Thus, e.g. can be achieved by increasing the viscosity of the external or internal phase of emulsions or suspensions that the time to demixing of the components of such a system can be significantly extended, which manifests itself in an extension of the storage time. By
Increasing the viscosity is improved even in many products their uniform distribution, especially on uneven surfaces. This applies in particular to skincare and pharmaceutical ointments on the skin.
The temperature behavior of the polymers is an important property. In general, polymers exhibit high viscosity at low temperatures and low viscosity at high temperatures. However, such polymers are often desirable which thicken above certain temperatures but remain pumpable and processible at low temperatures in solution, i. are also easy to use.
Bekannt als derartige Verdicker sind beispielsweise Celluloseether und andere Known as such thickeners are, for example, cellulose ethers and others
Cellulosederivate (z.B. Carboxymethylcellulose, Hydroxyethylceilulose), Gelatine, Stärke und Stärkederivate, Natriumalginate, Fettsäurepolyethylenglykolester, Agar-Agar, Traganth oder Dextrine. Cellulose derivatives (e.g., carboxymethyl cellulose, hydroxyethyl cellulose), gelatin, starch and starch derivatives, sodium alginates, fatty acid polyethylene glycol esters, agar-agar, tragacanth or dextrins.
However, the thickeners mentioned show a variety of disadvantages in the application. Thus, e.g. the cellulose derivatives or generally based on natural raw materials and the resulting formulations very susceptible to bacteria. That the addition of thickeners in cosmetic preparations often increases the requirements with regard to their microbiological stability.
Another problem arises due to the applications and manipulations of such thickened preparations.

In terms of application, these preparations are also due to the formation of unpleasant, "thread-pulling" gels.
Besonders unangenehm treten diese Phänomene bei gelartigen Zubereitungen sowie bei Zubereitungen auf, welche wasserlösliche und/oder A particular problem with the thickening of cosmetic preparations is that the preparations become sticky due to the addition of the polymeric thickener and tend to "pull threads." 0,4 g von einer bei 25°C gelagerten Formulierung wird zwischen Daumen und Zeigefinger aufgetragen. 0.4 g of a formulation stored at 25 ° C is applied between thumb and forefinger. The formulation is gently squeezed and the fingers apart. The process is performed 3 times at a speed of 2 movements per second. The length of the tip or the length of the product thread formed is evaluated.
The division depending on the forming thread is then: length of the lace / product thread> 2 cm -> strong threads pulling length of the tip / product thread 1-2 cm - pulling threads length of the tip / product thread <1 cm - low thread pulling length of Thread / product thread <0.5 cm not pulling threads

In addition to these performance and sensory properties, cosmetic preparations must also be formulated for long-term stability against microbial contamination. Microbial stability has so far been solved by the addition of preservatives. Known preservatives are the compounds known as parabens, in particular 4-hydroxybenzoic acid and its esters, methylparaben, ethylparaben, propylparaben, isopropylparaben, butylparaben, isobutylparaben, phenylparaben.

Methylisothiazolinone (2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (MIT)) is a class of compounds with high microbicidal activity, which is mainly used for the preservation of technical products and only a few cosmetic products.

With regard to increasing health impairments and allergies and the urge of consumers for more ecologically compatible cosmetics, there is the problem that these preparations must still have sufficient stability and above all skin compatibility and sufficiently acceptable sensors.
Furthermore, a simple replacement or avoidance of parabens and / or phenoxyethanol is not readily possible without sacrificing stability and performance.
Überraschenderweise lassen sich die Verdicker in Kombination mit den erfindungsgemäßen Stoffen, Benzethoniumchlorid, Methylisothiazolinone, Piroctone Olamine und/oder Surprisingly, the thickeners can be used in combination with the substances according to the invention, benzethonium chloride, methylisothiazolinone, piroctone olamine and / or

The discharge of the preparations according to the invention by a dispenser works perfectly over a wide temperature range of + 5 ° C to + 60 ° C, which in Considering the presented thickening properties and stickiness was not expected.
This is surprisingly achieved by the inventive agents, benzethonium chloride,
Methylisothiazolinone, Piroctone Olamine and / or Lauroylethylarginat enabled. However, agents which are not actually known to have a viscosity or tackiness affect the sliding properties of the entire formulation in such a way that the adhesion of the compositions containing them to surfaces is positively influenced. Thus, it is also to be explained that the adhesion to the surfaces in the dispenser systems is positively influenced, so that a pumpability can be ensured over a wide temperature range.
For comparison, for example, shows a cosmetic preparation with parabens or phenoxyethanol and a thickener, here xanthan gum, an unacceptable stickiness.
If instead of the known preservatives paraben or phenoxyethanol, a substance according to the invention, such as benzethonium chloride, is used in the otherwise identical preparation, the tackiness is surprisingly greatly improved, as the following comparison shows.

Lauroylethylarginate a very good biofilm-dissolving effect can be shown. Even with Piroctone Olamine, Methylisothiazolinone a slight biofilm dissolution could be achieved.
In the conventional antibacterial agents distinguishes the bacteriostatic and the bactericidal effect. In the latter, the bacteria are killed by the drug. The bacteriostatic effect, however, prevents the proliferation of bacteria. The preservatives used in cosmetic formulations to prevent bacterial contamination are usually among the bactericidal agents. The use of classic antimicrobial agents, however, on the one hand affects the skin flora and, on the other hand, resistance developments are increasingly being observed in recent years. In contrast to conventional antimicrobial agents, the anti-biofilm agents do not directly interfere with the bacterial metabolism, but merely prevent or dissolve the formation of the bacteria-protecting biofilm. Resistance development is therefore excluded.
