Abstract

A door opening between rooms, fitted with an interlocking doorframe (2) of the door (3) on the wall (1), comprising a door case and jambs, where at least one ventilation channel (4) connecting the rooms is formed between the door case and/or the wall (1).

Description

A door opening between rooms . Technical field The technical solution relates to a door opening between rooms, fitted with an interlocked doorframe on the wall, comprising door cases and jambs.
State of the art
In building interiors, doors in doorframes are used for passage openings to separate individual rooms and if ventilation function is required, a ventilation grill is fitted in a door wing; namely in the door surface, breaking its design; ventilation' can be also provided by leaving a larger gap between the?, floor and the -bottom edge of the door, which does not look aesthetic, makes room for the passage of light and principally reduces the noise suppression of the closure .
Essence of the technical solution
. The deficiencies mentioned above are to a great extent removed by a door^ opening between rooms, fitted with an interlocking doorframe,- on the wall ,: 'comprising a door case and jambs, as specified ¾Lriathis technical solution. Its essence is that at least one ventilation channel connecting the rooms is created between the: door case, the - jambs and- the wall.
.-Π. -- - .-.
The channel is advantageously bent along the wall. The channel can be fitted with a filter. If needed, a fireproof foaming material is placed in the channel . The channel inlet holes can be fitted with a grill or screen.
Since the ventilation channel is placed between the door case, the jambs and the wall, it does not interfere with the door surface and the wall as such. The channel advantageously copies the shape of the wall, and therefore no drilling, cutting, walling or similar additional work is needed. Since the channel is bent and its inlet holes are -located under or in the jambs, no light passes through the channel from the neighbouring room.
If the channel '-is- fitted with a filter, minimum air whirl is secured. Grills on the inlets, if used, can form an aesthetic element and : prevents undesirable clogging of these holes. If needed, it -is possible to put a fireproof foaming material in the channel, which guarantees fire resistance of the whole door and the doorframe - closure in case of fire.
The proposed solution is also efficient in terms of price, option of use in standardized building openings, speed of application, lifetime and" integrity
The interlocking" doorframe is therefore designed so that when it is fitted in a building opening, ventilation channels are created that allow: the free passage of air between the rooms. The cross - section of the channel is optional based on the required volume flow of air. The channel is designed so that it does not allow the direct passage of light and reduces the noise suppression of the closure to a minimum extent. If a filtering fabric is used, it is also possible to filtger the passing air flow. If fire resistance- of the closure - door plus doorframe - is' required, the ventilation channel can be fitted with a fireproof foaming material' that seals it in case of fire, while the fire resistance of the closure is maintained. The door wing remains unchanged, with no required dimensional adjustment, such as an undercut to create a gap from the floor.
List of drawings
The door opening between the rooms as specified in this technical solution will be described in detail on a specific embodiment using the attached drawing, where figure 1 shows a schematic diagram - plan view of the cross-section of the wall with the doorframe and the 'ventilation channel . Embodiments of the technical solution ■''■·'
In an embodiment' of an opening between rooms, fitted on wall 1 using interlocking doorframe 2 for door 3_, comprising a body case, a threshold, a head and jambs, two ventilation channels 4 are created on each side of door 3_ between the door case and wall 1 to connect the rooms.1 Channels 4 are bent along wall 1, with inlets- :and outlets under or in the jambs. The outlets can be fitted" with a grill and filters can be put in channels 4. Fireproof ' foaming material 55 can be placed in channels 5. ' ' "
Industrial use
The door opening-'-; between rooms, fitted with an interlocking doorframe -on the wall, comprising a door case and jambs, as specified in this technical solution, can be especially used on interior-' doorframes '. -
