Abstract
An indication method and apparatus for Orthogonal Cover Code configuration and frequency hopping configuration are provided in the present invention, said method comprises: a base station indicates Orthogonal Cover Code configuration or frequency hopping configuration to a terminal by signaling, wherein, one of the Orthogonal Cover Code configuration and the frequency hopping configuration is bound with the other by a predefined mapping relation (S202); based on the received Orthogonal Cover Code configuration or frequency hopping configuration, the terminal performs Orthogonal Cover Code weighting process and determines whether to perform group frequency hopping or sequence frequency hopping (S204). By the combined indication method and apparatus for Orthogonal Cover Code (OCC) configuration and frequency hopping configuration in the present invention, the frequency hopping configuration can be indicated together with the indication for OCC configuration, thus improving the flexibility of OCC utilization and reducing signaling overhead by the binding relation between OCC configuration and frequency hopping configuration.
