Abstract

A control method and device for the audio output are disclosed in the present invention, which belongs to the field of signal processing. The method includes: detecting whether an earphone is in the state of the audio output; if yes, identifying the current environment of the audio output; adjusting the volume of the audio output according to the identified current environment of the audio output, determining the predetermined audio output time, and then turning off the audio output after the predetermined audio output time is out. The control device includes: a state detection module, a control module, an environment identification module, and a volume adjusting module. In the present invention, by adjusting the volume according to the identified current environment of the audio output, determining the predetermined audio output time, and then turning off the audio output after the predetermined audio output time is out, the audio output can be efficiently controlled, thus the problem of the audition damage conduced by receiving the audio output in a long time can be solved, and the audition damage caused by the high-volume noise can be avoid.
