  • the heated water H exits the closing plate 12 and is pushed through the pouch 3 and into the outlet opening 7. Due to the pressure of the pump 14 a jet 18 is generated which is jetted into the open top of the secondary reservoir 10. This secondary reservoir will fill up, providing a small pool of coffee extract. As the jet hits the pool of coffee extract, air is drawn in and a foam 19 is generated. This foam flows together with the coffee extract over the edge of the secondary reservoir 10 through the main reservoir to the outlet opening 9 and into the coffee cup C.
  • the amount of generated foam 19 can be controlled.
  • a valve can be arranged in the channel 17 to prevent early dispensing of water in the brewing chamber. This valve could provide a bypass to the water reservoir as long as the pump 14 is not providing any pressure.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne une machine à café (1) comprenant : une chambre d'infusion comprenant une admission pour de l'eau chaude, alimentée par une pompe, un support de dosette de café (2) et une ouverture de sortie réduite (7) de sorte que, lorsque l'eau chaude (H) est pompée depuis l'admission pour passer à travers la dosette de café (3) disposée dans le support de dosette, un jet de café est généré par l'ouverture de sortie réduite ; un réservoir principal (8) disposé sous l'ouverture de sortie de la chambre d'infusion ; et un réservoir auxiliaire (10) disposé dans le réservoir principal et aligné avec l'ouverture de sortie de la chambre d'infusion, le réservoir auxiliaire présentant une ouverture au sommet pour recevoir le jet de café provenant de l'ouverture de sortie.
