Abstract
A data transmission method and device are provided. Firstly, performing the transmission evaluation on the packet and obtaining the evaluation result; then, preliminarily determining the length of the packet to be transmitted on the basis of the evaluation result, and then adjusting the length of the packet to be transmitted on the basis of the current retransmission rate; finally, transmitting the packet on the adjusted length of the packet. With the data transmission method and device provided by the embodiments of the present invention, for obtaining the optimum packet transmission length, the retransmission rate is brought into the transmission evaluation content and the length of the packet is adjusted on the basis of the retransmission rate, thus the retransmission rate is reduced and the throughput of the effective data is improved in some particular scenes.
