Abstract

In the present invention, a mobile station receives information on a multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) feedback mode bitmap and a feedback period. The mobile station estimates channel information, which pertains to at least one of the MIMO feedback modes indicated by a MIMO feedback mode bitmap. The mobile station creates a MIMO feedback mode bitmap and a MIMO feedback, which contains at least one of the MIMO feedback modes indicated by a MIMO feedback mode bitmap. The mobile station transmits the MIMO feedback to a base station upon the arrival of a feedback period.
