Abstract

A test method, test server and test client for an Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) terminal are provided in the embodiments of the present invention, which relate to communications technology field and are invented to improve the expandability for testing the IPTV terminal. Said method includes: acquiring configuration information of at least two test clients and tasks to be tested; determining a target test client matched with said task to be tested according to said task to be tested and said configuration information; sending down said task to be tested to said target test client to enable said target test client to use said task to be tested to perform test on the IPTV terminal corresponding to said target test client. The embodiments of the present invention are mostly used in all kinds of IPTV terminal tests.
