Abstract

Disclosed is a broadcasting signal transmission device, a broadcasting signal reception device, and a method for transmitting/receiving a broadcasting signal using same. The method for transmitting the broadcasting signal comprises the following steps: generating a plurality of PLPs by dividing an input stream, which includes a broadcasting service, into a plurality of components, based on a packet identifier, and generating first signaling information and second signaling information, which include signaling information for identifying the plurality of PLPs, wherein one of the plurality of PLPs is a base PLP, which includes a program number that corresponds to the broadcasting service, and program map table information, which has been signaled with identifying information of each of the PLPs; FEC encoding the plurality of PLPs, the first signaling information, and the second signaling information; generating a transmission frame, which includes the plurality of FEC encoded PLPs, the first signaling information, and the second signaling information; and inserting a pilot signal having a specific pilot pattern into the transmission frame, inserting a first preamble signal, which has been signaled with a preamble format at the start location of the transmission frame, into which the pilot signal has been inserted, and a second preamble signal, which has been signaled with the pilot pattern information, and transmitting thereby. The first signaling information includes PLP group identifying information for identifying PLP groups that include the plurality of PLPs, and PLP identifying information for identifying each of the PLPs, and the second signaling information includes base PLP identifying information for identifying the base PLP and service identifying information for identifying the broadcasting service.
