Abstract

방송 신호 송신 장치, 방송 신호 수신 장치, 및 방송 신호 송/수신 장치에서 방송 신호 송수신 방법이 개시된다. 방송 신호 송신 방법은 방송 서비스를 포함하는 입력 스트림을 패킷 식별자를 기반으로 복수개의 컴포넌트로 구분하여 복수개의 PLP를 생성하고, 복수개의 PLP를 식별하기 위한 시그널링 정보를 포함하는 제1 시그널링 정보와 제2 시그널링 정보를 생성하는 단계, 상기 복수개의 PLP와 제1, 제2 시그널링 정보에 대해 FEC 인코딩을 수행하는 단계, 상기 FEC 인코드된 복수개의 PLP와 제1, 제2 시그널링 정보를 포함하는 전송 프레임을 생성하는 단계, 및 상기 전송 프레임에 특정 파일럿 패턴의 파일럿 신호를 삽입하고, 파일럿 신호가 삽입된 전송 프레임의 시작 위치에 프리앰블 포맷이 시그널링된 제1 프리앰블 신호와 파일럿 패턴 정보가 시그널링된 제2 프리앰블 신호를 삽입하여 전송하는 단계를 포함한다. 상기 제1 시그널링 정보는 상기 복수개의 PLP를 포함하는 PLP 그룹을 식별하기 위한 PLP 그룹 식별 정보와 각 PLP를 식별하기 위한 PLP 식별 정보를 포함하며, 상기 제2 시그널링 정보는 상기 PLP 그룹 식별 정보와 상기 방송 서비스를 식별하기 위한 서비스 식별 정보를 포함한다.
