Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant d'éviter l'effet ping-pong dans la resélection de cellule, ce procédé consistant à: sélectionner des cellules pouvant être des cellules de desserte candidates, selon un critère S, parmi des cellules de desserte courantes et des cellules de non-desserte adjacentes; déterminer une cellule optimale, selon un critère R, parmi des cellules de desserte candidates; si la cellule optimale n'est pas la cellule de desserte courante, on détermine si l'intensité et la qualité du signal de la cellule optimale sont égales ou supérieures à des seuils de resélection, les seuils de resélection étant supérieurs à des seuils de desserte minimum de la cellule de desserte; et dans le cas où l'intensité et la qualité du signal de la cellule optimale sont égales ou supérieures à des seuils de resélection, on déclenche la resélection de cellule. Les modes de réalisation de la présente invention concernent également un terminal correspondant. Suite au résultat obtenu dans cette invention, du fait de l'augmentation des seuils de resélection dans la resélection de cellule, les cellules ayant une bonne intensité de signal et une mauvaise qualité de signal ou les cellules ayant une mauvaise intensité de signal et une bonne qualité de signal ne seront pas incluses dans la plage des candidates des cellules de resélection, ce qui permet d'éviter efficacement l'apparition fréquente de l'effet ping-pong dans la resélection de cellule.
