Abstract

The Stable Pharmaceutical Preparation Containing Clindamycin And Benzoyl Peroxide comprises of Benzoyl peroxide, Clindamycin or its pharmaceutically accepted salts and esters, Cellulose derivative or Cyclic derivative or glycerol derivative and/or combination of them and Effective amounts of excipients like antioxidants, preservatives, pH modifiers, suspending agents and pharmaceutical acceptable barrier by which the compositions of the present invention are maintained at the desired pH, the tendency of benzoyl peroxide to oxidize and degrade Clindamycin can be largely overcome with, and the product, during storage at room temperature, remains stable for extended periods and when maintained at temperature between 2 to 8 degree C, remains stable for at least 24 months.
