Abstract

Disclosed herein is a moxa tool which cauterizes a user's body while controlling the moxa tool heat and infrared rays over the treatment area.

Description

Technical Field:

The Moxa Tool is used for moxa therapy by producing infared rays and indirect heat when the

moxa is burnt.

Background Art:

Moxibustion is a traditional Chinese medicine therapy using moxa. Moxibustion is used for

treating or preventing disease or pains of the human body by applying infrared rays and heat,

which is generated when burnt.

However, traditional moxibustion methods has several problems in that it is time consuming

and the cauterized area will show marks of moxibustion or leave burn marks after moxibustion

has been performed.

Disclosure of invention:

Therefore, the Moxa Tool has been created in view of the above problems, and it is an object of the present invention which cauterizes a user's body while controlling the Moxa Tool heat and infrared rays over the treatment area.

Another object of the present invention is to provide moxibustion to a treatment area without leaving any moxibustion marks or burns.

Mode for Carrying Out Invention:

Step 1 : Face the Moxa Too! downward. The Moxa Holder (A) and Holes(C) should be facing downward. Add moxa into oxes Holder (A) and compress the rnoxs(D) down.

Step 2: Slightly, push the compressed moxa(D) out of the Moxa Hoider(A) about one centimeters hold the Moxa Tool by Moxa Handle(B) and ignite the rrioxa(D).

Step 3; Hold the Moxa Tool about an a few centimeters over the treatment area. If it feels hot, move to a different area for treatment. In order to keep the fire alive, remove ashes and push moxa(D) slightly through the Moxa Holder(A).

Step 4: After treatment is completed use a container of water to put out the Moxa(D).

Therefore, according to the present invention, the Moxa Tool has excellent healing effects and can be produced in mass quantity.

It is to be understood that, while the invention was described mainly with respect to specific embodiments, the invention is never restricted to those embodiments and a variety of the modifications and the alterations would be possible to a man skilled in the art by referring to the description or drawings presented here and within the spirit of the invention and thus those modification or alterations are to fall within the scope of the invention, which scope should be limited only by the attached claim. The present invention related generally to moxibustion. In more detail the Moxa Tool is a device that has a Moxa Handle (B) which is connected to a Moxa Holder (A). The Moxa Holder (A) has Holes (C) in it. Inside the Moxa Holder (A) is Moxa (D).

Claims

Claim 1 :

The Moxa Tool is comprised of a Moxa Holder (A) connected to Moxa Handle (B).

Claim 2:

The Moxa Tool according to claim 1 , wherein the Moxa Holder (A) comprises Holes (C) to dissipate heat from the lit Moxa (D).

Claim 3:

The Moxa Tool according to claim 1 , is easy to use and does not contact the skin directly so there is no risk in burning of the skin.

Claim 4:

The Moxa Tool according to claim 1 , wherein the Moxa Holder (A), has the ability to hold more Moxa, thus emitting more heat and infrared rays to the treatment area.
