Abstract

The invention relates to a stator of an electric machine, comprising a stator carrier and individual segments (3a, 3b). A first individual segment (3a) has a curved projection (4) and a second individual segment (3b) has a recess (5), such that, in the assembled state, wherein the individual segments form a stator ring (7) with a force-free assembly, the projection (4) of the first individual segment (3a) is inserted into the recess (5) of the second individual segment (3b). The second individual segment (3b) also has a deformable part (6) that is arranged on the recess (5) and can be deformed when the stator ring (7) is pressed into the stator carrier.
