Abstract

방송 신호 송신 장치, 방송 신호 수신 장치, 및 방송 신호 송/수신 장치에서 방송 신호 송수신 방법이 개시된다. 방송 신호 송신 방법은 제1 QAM 타입의 심볼로 매핑된 제1 입력 신호와 제2 QAM 타입의 심볼로 매핑된 제2 입력 신호를 MIMO 인코딩하여 제1 전송 신호와 제2 전송 신호로 출력하는 단계, 상기 제1 전송 신호는 제1 신호 프레임 내 서브 밴드의 대역폭을 일정하게 유지하면서 셀 유닛마다 다른 서브 캐리어 위치에 매핑시키고, 상기 제2 전송 신호는 제2 신호 프레임 내 서브 밴드의 대역폭을 일정하게 유지하면서 셀 유닛마다 다른 서브 캐리어 위치에 매핑시키는 단계, 상기 제1 전송 신호가 매핑된 제1 신호 프레임에 FFT 사이즈 정보를 기반으로 결정된 파일럿 패턴의 파일럿 신호를 삽입하고 상기 파일럿 신호가 삽입된 제1 신호 프레임의 시작 위치에 제1, 제2 프리앰블 신호를 삽입하는 단계, 및 상기 제2 전송 신호가 매핑된 제2 신호 프레임에 FFT 사이즈 정보를 기반으로 결정된 파일럿 패턴의 파일럿 신호를 삽입하고 상기 파일럿 신호가 삽입된 제2 신호 프레임의 시작 위치에 제1, 제2 프리앰블 신호를 삽입하는 단계를 포함한다.
