Abstract

The present invention relates to a folding structure in which blocks are connected one by one into a single body to eliminate the risk of losing components and to enable easy storage and carrying, and which enables a user to produce a desired shape at any time in any place, and which enables the user to transform the folding structure from a simple two-dimensional plane shape into three-dimensional complicated and diverse shapes, and which further can be transformed into an almost infinite number of shapes by means of the creativity and imagination of the user. According to the present invention, the folding structure comprises: a plurality of blocks, each of which has a polygonal cross-sectional surface; and a plurality of rotating connection units which interconnect the sides of the blocks such that the blocks are rotatable relative to one another. The blocks rotate via the rotating connection units in such a way that one of the blocks that are adjacent to each other after the rotation is vertical to one side of the adjacent block and contacts two sides of the adjacent blocks.
