Abstract

The present invention relates to a rectangular multifunctional microspeaker that efficiently utilizes space. The rectangular multifunctional microspeaker of the present invention includes: a rectangular frame; a rectangular diaphragm having an edge supported by the frame; a rectangular voice coil attached to the rectangular diaphragm; a first suspension, one end of which is fixed to the frame and the center of which supports a first vibrator; said first vibrator, which is attached to the center of the first suspension; a second suspension, one end of which is fixed to the frame to the bottom center of which a second vibrator is attached; and said second vibrator, which is attached to the bottom center of the second suspension. The first vibrator and the second vibrator are connected together through a magnetic field to compensate for the flatness of each of the suspensions. Additionally, according to the present invention, the rectangular multifunctional microspeaker enables a heavy vibrator (the first vibrator) to move with a small displacement and a light vibrator (the second vibrator) to move with a relatively large displacement at a fast speed, thereby minimizing the displacement amplitude of a magnetic circuit of the speaker and maximizing the displacement amplitude of a magnetic vibrator. Thus, the change in acoustic performance of a speaker may be minimized and the vibration characteristics thereof may be improved.
