Abstract
The present invention relates to a gas barrier coating composition and to a gas barrier film, which are capable of forming a gas barrier coating layer having good adherence and transparency on a thermoplastic resin base. The coating composition comprises: polyvinyl alcohol; a chlorinated polyolefin; and a mixed solvent including an alcohol having a lower carbon number of 1 to 5, and water.
