Abstract
A vehicle seat comprising a seat base including a seat pan defining two opposite edges ("seat ends"), forming the base of the vehicle seat ("seat base"), a reversible backrest, the back rest including a back side and a front side and adapted to be able to offer support to a user in a seated position facing a first direction when the backrest is in a first position and to be able to offer support to a user in a seated position facing a second direction opposite to the first direction when the back rest is in a second position, an articulation mechanism operatively connecting the seat base and the back rest allowing the back rest to move between seat ends, and at a point in between, allowing the back rest to rotate, wherein the back rest is proximate more one of the other seat end when in the first position and the front side faces in the first direction and the back side faces in the second direction, and wherein the back rest is proximate more the other seat end when in the second position and the front side faces in the second direction and the back side faces in the first direction.
