Abstract
The invention relates to a heat exchanger (7), especially a plate exchanger (8), which is thermally coupled to a geothermal probe (6). The heat exchanger (7) comprises, for the purpose of condensation of a heat transfer medium evaporated in the geothermal probe (6) under the effect of geothermal heat, an inlet through which the evaporated heat transfer medium can be supplied and an outlet through which the heat transfer medium condensed in the heat exchanger (7) can be discharged. The heat exchanger (7) has a single common connecting opening (17) for the supply of the evaporated heat transfer medium and for the discharge of the condensed heat transfer medium, said connecting opening being connected to the geothermal probe (6) via a conduit (12). The design of the heat exchanger (7) allows a very compact constructional unit which can be installed with little effort even if only little installation space is available.
