Dispositif d'activation d'un système mains-libres (5) de véhicule automobile (1), dans lequel ledit système d'accès mains-libres (5) comprend un contrôleur (19) configuré pour identifier un utilisateur habilité à procéder au verrouillage/déverrouillage et destiné à contrôler les fonctions de verrouillage/déverrouillage du système mains-libres (5) dans lequel sont montés des moyens de transmission mécanique (15) transmettant mécaniquement l'actionnement d'une poignée extérieure (9) par l'utilisateur à une serrure (7) associée, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte au moins un capteur de mouvement mécanique (29) destiné à être relié à l'unité d'authentification, disposé sur le trajet des moyens de transmission mécanique d' actionnement ou sur un constituant de la serrure et captant un mouvement d' un élément appartenant à l' ensemble constitué des moyens de transmission mécanique et de la serrure pour déclencher l'activation du système d'accès mains-libres (5) par le contrôleur (19).
