Abstract

The invention relates to a method for distributing electrical energy in an electrical grid (SN) having a plurality of electricity consumers (V1, V2, V3), in particular in a household and/or building electrical grid. In the method according to the invention, electrical consumers (V1, V2, V3) requiring electrical power send out virtual price offers (G1, G1', G2, G2') based on virtual currency units for procuring electrical energy at a communications gateway (KG) associated with the electrical grid (SN), wherein the amount of the price offers reflects a priority of providing electrical energy for each electrical consumer (V1, V2, V3). The communications gateway (KG) communicates with an external energy services platform (EP), where energy can be purchased based on real prices, in order to purchase a quantity of energy based on a real price if needed. The communications gateway (KG) thereby provides a purchased quantity of energy to the electrical consumers (V1, V2, V3) by means of a bidding method, wherein the energy required by each of the electrical consumers (V1, V2, V3) is distributed based on the virtual price offers (G1, G1', G2, G2') such that electrical consumers (V1, V2, V3) having high price offers (G1, G1', G2, G2') are given preference in the distribution.
