Abstract
The invention relates to a heat exchanger (1), which is used in particular as an exhaust gas heat exchanger, comprising coolant channels (8, 9), through which a water-based coolant can be conducted, and gas channels (10 - 12), which are thermally connected to the coolant channels (8, 9) and through which a gas to be cooled can be conducted. To said end, the coolant channels (8, 9) comprise raised areas (19 - 26) on the respective channel upper face (16, 18) thereof located on top with regard to an installation position.
