Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Generator zum Erzeugen von elektrischer Energie. Dieser Generator weist eine erste Interdigitalelektrodenanordnung (10) mit zwei ineinander verschränkten Elektrodenkämmen (11, 12) auf. Eine zweite Interdigitalelektrodenanordnung (20) weist ebenfalls zwei ineinander verschränkte Elektrodenkämme (11, 12) auf. Ein elektroaktives Polymer (1) ist zwischen den Elektrodenkämmen der ersten Interdigitalelektrodenanordnung (10) und zwischen den Elektrodenkämmen (11, 12) der zweiten Interdigitalelektrodenanordnung (20) und zwischen der ersten Interdigitalelektrodenanordnung (10) und der zweiten Interdigitalelektrodenanordnung (20) vorgesehen. Eine erste Steuerschaltung ist vorgesehen zum wahlweisen Schalten der Elektrodenkämme (11, 12) der ersten Interdigitalelektrodenanordnung (10) auf unterschiedliche Potentiale oder auf das gleiche Potential.
