Abstract

The present invention relates to a lightning conductor having controlled operation, said conductor comprising: a central conductive material rod, the bottom end of which is connected to the ground; and a conductive shell (5) that is electrically insulated from the rod by means of a cover. Said lightning conductor is characterized in that the conductor comprises an inner spark gap that is electrically connected to the conductive shell (5), the equivalent capacitance C1 of which is greater than that (C2) existing at the outer peak thereof between the conductive shell (5) and the central rod.
