Abstract

Un ensemble adapté à des opérations de forage de puits sous-marins et d'intervention dans des puits sous-marins comprend un double système obturateur (BOP) comprenant un obturateur supérieur situé entre un plancher de forage et une rame, et un obturateur inférieur situé sous la rame et au-dessus d'une tête de puits. Le double système BOP est conçu pour permettre des opérations de forage et d'intervention perfectionnées comme le forage géré sous pression (Managed Pressure Drilling, « MPD »), le forage en sous-pression (Underbalanced Drilling, « UBD »), ou le forage rotatif dans une colonne de production (Through Tubing Rotary Drilling, « TTRD ») dans un environnement offshore en eaux profondes.
