Abstract
Cette invention concerne l'utilisation d'un alginate pour la préparation d'un produit minceur liquide destiné à traiter ou à prévenir l'obésité et qui est administré à raison d'au moins 350 mL de solution d'alginate sous une forme dissoute aqueuse, l'alginate formant un gel à un pH de 3 ou moins. L'invention concerne également un produit minceur liquide destiné à traiter ou à prévenir l'obésité comprenant un alginate sous une forme dissoute aqueuse à une valeur de pH à laquelle l'alginate ne forme pas un gel, qui est administré à un sujet souffrant ou risquant de souffrir d'obésité à une dose unitaire de produit minceur d'au moins 350 mL.
