Abstract

The invention relates to a component comprising a thermistor element having electrodes on a first and a second side, clamped between a first and a second contact element, such that the first contact element contacts the electrode on the first side in a central area and the second contact element contacts the electrode on the second side in a peripheral area, wherein, if the thermistor element should break, each of the fragments is no longer in contact with one of the contact elements.
