Abstract

The present invention relates to a pattern-storing device for managing body temperature, which forms patterns from and stores changes in the body temperature of a person so as to check for abnormal changes in body temperature on a real-time basis, and also relates to a method for continuously managing not only the body temperature of an ordinary person, but also the body temperature of those with difficulties communicating, such as infants, babies, or critically ill patients. The pattern-storing device for managing body temperature according to the present invention comprises: a sensor unit mounted on a diaper or clothes such as underwear, which are tightly worn on a certain part of the body, so as to measure the body temperature of a wearer; a central control unit which takes, as an input, body temperature data from the sensor unit, determines the inclination value obtained from multiple body temperature data measured at a predetermined time interval as pattern data for changes in the body temperature of a user, preemptively generates the pattern data, and compares body temperature data, measured after the generation of the pattern data, with said pattern data to determine whether or not an abnormality has occurred in the body of the user; a memory unit, which receives the pattern data and the body temperature data from the central control unit, and stores the received data; and a warning unit which generates a warning signal when it is determined by the central control unit that an abnormality has occurred in the body of the user.
